HOW IT WORKS

STEP
ONE

Schedule a free phone consultation with a Prenup Pros attorney or mediation attorney to see whether a Prenuptial Agreement may be right for you and your partner.

All calls are strictly confidential and can last up to 30 minutes.

There is no obligation whatsoever to hire Prenup Pros following the initial call. Whether you want to sign a prenup and what law firm you want to hire to prepare it are decisions that are yours, and yours alone.

Prenup Pros Couple

STEP
TWO

If you decide to hire Prenup Pros to prepare your Prenuptial Agreement, we will get additional information from you and prepare your custom prenup and send it to you for review.  We make every effort to turn around your first draft quickly because we want to keep our clients happy. For Mediated Prenups, we send the draft to both parties simultaneously so that they can review, discuss and follow up with their mediator. It typically takes only 2-4 business days to turn around the initial draft, once our firm is engaged.

PLEASE NOTE:  Currently the Prenup Pros law firm only serves clients who live, are getting married in, or are planning to move to Florida, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Texas and Virginia. We will be serving clients in other states in the near future.

STEP
THREE

You review the prenup draft with your partner and discuss the terms, any potential changes needed, and come up with questions to ask your lawyer or mediator during the follow up call to review the draft in detail.

Be diligent here, because signing a prenuptial agreement too close to your wedding date can potentially compromise the enforceability of your prenup.

STEP
FOUR

When you are ready (preferably within a week or two), schedule a follow up call to review your prenup with the attorney/mediator who prepared it.

During this call, you can ask questions about the terms and discuss any changes you might want. We want to make sure that both parties fully understand what the prenuptial agreement says, and that it accurately captures the terms that the prospective spouses want to cover. We also review exactly how to take the prenup to get properly and legally executed once it is in final form.

Couple Loving Smarter

STEP
FIVE

Your prenuptial lawyer (or attorney-mediator) will make any necessary changes and send you the final Prenuptial Agreement, customized to your needs and ready for signing. You will then get it signed and notarized, back it up and store it in a safe place.

Then, it's time to get married with confidence and forget about the legal stuff.  Congratulations for choosing to Love Smarter!
