Prenup Pros® is a law firm based in Northern Virginia that provides affordable, flat-fee prenuptial and postnuptial agreements to clients in Florida, New York, New Jersey and Virginia.

In Nevada, we represent both parties to help them arrive at the perfect prenuptial agreement with terms desired by both of them, as a licensed and bonded Nevada prenuptial agreement preparer (not as attorneys).

Marital Agreements are all we do. That means prenuptial agreement and postnuptial agreement review, counseling and drafting are the only legal and document preparation services offered by our law firm.

Why do we do Prenups? At Prenup Pros, we believe that every couple planning to marry should at least consider entering into a premarital agreement. The true purpose of every prenuptial agreement is to clearly state what essential marital rights each spouse has in the event of a divorce (excluding rights relating to kids).

A well-drafted and legally enforceable prenuptial agreement can eliminate conflict in a divorce because most of the rights and decisions that cause couples to fight are already decided. If prepared correctly, a premarital agreement should increase the chance that a divorcing couple can avoid a trial and keep things friendly.

Jeffrey Weaver, Esq. is the founder of Prenup Pros, the first law firm in Virginia to only specialize in prenuptial agreements. Jeff has prepared contracts for clients since 1999 and through Prenup Pros he applies his expertise and experience to prepare prenuptial and postnuptial agreements for clients located in Virginia, Florida, New York and New Jersey. Jeff also is a registered, licensed and bonded document preparation specialist in Nevada, where he prepares prenuptial agreements through Prenup Pros Doc Prep LLC, for both parties to the prenup.

Our Story

Jeff formed Prenup Pros to provide marrying couples access to affordable, easy-to-understand prenuptial and postnuptial agreements because he believes that all couples should at least consider a prenup. His belief derives from the fact the he personally experienced the benefits that a prenup can provide, and he has seen too many friends, family and colleagues suffer through contested divorces with devastating effects on the well-being of their children.

When they decided to separate, Jeff and his ex-wife were grateful that the prenuptial agreement they had signed many years earlier pre-resolved the majority of things divorcing couples usually fight over and allowed them to focus on minimizing the impact of their separation on their son.

Many years after their divorce, Jeff and his ex-wife enjoy a friendly and collaborative 50/50 co-parenting relationship centered around the bests interests of their son. Both of them agree that having a prenuptial agreement to guide them through their divorce immediately set a tone of cooperation and collaboration that lasted throughout the divorce and continues to benefit all of them today.

Jeff practiced as a litigator for two years in Florida courts and then earned an MBA from Emory University, where he graduated at the top of his class and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. For over 23 years, Jeff has provided hundreds of clients with exceptional legal support drafting and reviewing contracts.

Prior to forming Prenup Pros, Jeff's practice involved preparing and reviewing prenuptial agreements for customers of LegalZoom® across several states. He is admitted to practice and in good standing in Virginia, Florida, New York and New Jersey.

In his spare time Jeff enjoys playing the drums, snowboarding and spending as much time as possible with his son.
